This is a great Filipino place to get chicken sandwiches. I really like it much better than Chick-fil-A or some of the other weirdness around. Much better than anything McDonald's or the other guys too. Highly recommended
Love the fact Jollibee has been available on Maui! The staff is awesome as well as the food. Sometimes there is a wait time but that's because there's a line or they're making a fresh batch. I'm hoping they will implement having utensils & napkins for drive thru orders.
First time having Jollibee and now I understand the hype. The chicken meat is juicy and the skin is satisfyingly crispy. Also have to specifically note that I have not seen a fast food staff of 5 hustle harder than the staff at this location. During the 30-mins that I was here, a rush of customers came in and it was impressive to watch every team member literally hustling to serve each customer, both dining in and drive thru. Coming from US mainland, it’s difficult to find the same level of hustle at any fast food chicken franchise anymore.
You know you're in the right Jollibee when the employees have a philippino accent. This location was about a 7 uber ride from the airport. We stopped by during a layover and the food came out hot and fresh. Come try the lechon, it's delicious!
Best fried chicken on the island. Just as good, if not better than, Popeyes, but there are no Popeyes on the island or in Hawaii. Always choose Jollibee when wanting great fried chicken. I wish someone on the island would have fried chicken breasts.
I used to eat at Jollibees all the time in the Philippines when I was a kid. Tastes exactly the same and is amazing. Better than any other fried chicken fast food. If you want the “authentic” experience, get either the Spicy Chickenjoy with rice and gravy or the Filipino spaghetti which is very sweet. The building was clean and the A/C was cold. Prices were much higher than the mainland US but that’s expected for Hawaii.
I have heard a lot about Jollibee but living in Michigan I have never had the opportunity to try it until now. This fast food restaurant based out of the Philippines offers a rather sizable and very eclectic menu including spaghetti with hotdog coins and shredded cheddar (made with bananas instead of tomatoes) their signature fried chicken (available in spicy and regular) a chop steak served with rice and mushroom sauce, salads and some Philippine dishes such a palabok and abodo rice. There is also the standard fast food fare: burgers, fries and chicken sandwiches. As fast-food goes, I enjoyed the unique take on this genre of food and look forward to Michigan getting Jollibees.
Ordered the spaghetti and spicy chicken. The spaghetti tastes great, and the spicy chicken was a little spicy for my taste buds, which I respect. Highly recommend.
